POMPANO BEACH, Fla. — A bagel shop has reopened after a driver lost control of her vehicle and smashed into the crowded restaurant Wednesday.

Pompano Beach Fire Rescue responded to the accident, which occurred at the Bagel Snack Restaurant & Deli located at the 1200 block of North Powerline Road.

According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, 76-year-old Lessie Bryant struck a Mercedes in the parking lot and crashed into the deli, hitting a male patron inside.
